Those Holding The Following Do Not Have To Take An Entry/Placement Test: (I) Hku Space Diploma In Business English Or Hku Space Diploma In General English; Or (Ii) Hku Space Certificate In Business English, With Merit (Credit) Or Above; Or (Iii) Hku Space Advanced Certificate In General English, With Merit (Credit) Or Above; Or (Iv) Grade D In Hkale Use Of English; Or Grade C (Syllabus B)/ Grade A (Syllabus A)/ Level 4 In Hkcee English Language/ Level 4 In Hkdse English Language, Or Equivalent; Or (V) Ielts 6.0 Applicants Need To Attach A Copy Of Relevant Result Letters And/Or Hkcee/Hkdse Certificates To Their Applications. Applicants Who Do Not Meet The Above Requirements Are Required To Take An Entry/Placement Test. The Advanced Diploma In Business English Comprises 330 Contact Hours Of Classroom Instruction, With Self-Study Hours, Assignments, Projects And Tests. 6 Modules Will Be Offered For The Entire Programme. Candidate Who Can Show An Acceptable Level Of English Language Proficiency May Be Exempted From The First 2 Modules That Make Up The Certificate In Business English. The Certificate In Business English Comprises 2 Modules: - Modern Business Writing Skills (45 Hours); And - Modern Business Oral Skills (45 Hours); The Advanced Diploma In Business English Comprises Four Modules: - Report Writing & Presentation Skills (60 Hours); - International Business Communication Skills (60 Hours); - Professional Business English Through Case Studies (60 Hours); And - Professional Written Communication Skills (60 Hours). Students Who Successfully Complete Any 2 Modules Of The Above Modules Will Be Awarded The Space Diploma In Business English. |
