Applicants Shall: (I) Have Completed The Foundation Certificate In General English Awarded Within The Hku System Through Hku Space; Or (Ii) Have Gained In The Hkdse Examination Level 2 In English Language; Or (Iii) Have Gained In The Hkcee Grade E (Syllabus B) Or Grade C (Syllabus A) In English Language Prior To 2007 Or Level 2 In English Language From 2007. Applicants With Equivalent Qualifications Will Be Considered On Individual Merit. Applicants Need To Attach A Copy Of Relevant Result Letters And/Or Hkcee/ Hkdse Certificates To Their Applications. Applicants Who Do Not Meet The Above Requirements Or Are Unable To Produce Documentary Proof(S) Need To Take The Space English Course Entrance Examination. |

Five Individual 45-Hour Courses, Each Focusing On Different Language Skills Sets, Will Be Offered Under Two Groups: Group 1: · Active Grammar 1 · Effective Writing Skills 1 Group 2: · Pronunciation & Fluency 1 · Speaking & Listening 1 · Vocabulary Enhancement 1 If Necessary, Further Courses May Be Added To The List. Courses Can Be Taken Individually Or As Part Of The Introductory Certificate. To Obtain The Introductory Certificate, Students Have To Pass One Course In Group 1 And One Course In Group 2 Within 4 Years Of Starting Their First Course. |
